Job Title:  Apartment Leasing Agent
Location: Barnegat & Waretown, NJ 

Type:  Contract-to-Hire Opportunity 
Compensation:  $20.00/hr. 
Contractor Work Model:  Onsite
Hours:  8:00 AM-4:30 PM | Monday-Friday

Apartment Leasing Agent Job Duties:

• This position will be splitting time between two apartment properties in Barnegat & Waretown, NJ. 
• Helps shows units to prospective tenants, assists with rental payments, late notices, processing work orders, etc.
• Answers incoming phone calls and provides information or routes call to appropriate person.
• Greets visitors, prospective tenants and current residents.
• Provide potential and current residents with accurate information on available rental units.
• May post basic info on various social media such as the company’s, Facebook, Instagram, Twitter, etc..
• File paperwork pertaining to the property.
• Organize the office and orders supplies.
• Partner with maintenance team on work orders for the residents.
• Maintains wait list, updates, send letters.
• Tour property daily to ensure it is neat, tidy, attractive, and in good repair.

Apartment Leasing Agent Job Requirements: 

• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• Recent College Graduates are encouraged apply! 
• Previous leasing experience is a plus
• Outgoing, friendly attitude and ability to make others feel welcome and comfortable.
• Excellent interpersonal skills with good sales and customer service skills.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
• Strong administration skills.
• Detail-oriented and organized.
• Flexibility and adaptability required to meet changing business needs.
• Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite or related software.
