Mental Health Professionals (245I Clinic) — 2 Openings (Psychiatrist or PMHNP/APRN)

Now hiring: Two (2) Mental Health Professionals to support our MN 245I Mental Health Clinic treatment team. Candidates may qualify as a Psychiatrist (MD/DO) or Psychiatric Mental Health Nurse Practitioner (PMHNP/APRN) under Minn. Stat. §245I.04, subd. 2 . MN Revisor's Office+1

Position Summary

Provide psychiatric/clinical services as part of an interdisciplinary treatment team in a certified mental health clinic setting. Responsibilities include psychiatric evaluation, diagnosis, treatment planning collaboration, and ongoing treatment (including medication management when within scope), with documentation and care coordination consistent with 245I clinic standards. What You’ll Do

• Conduct comprehensive psychiatric/clinical evaluations; develop diagnoses and clinical impressions.
• Provide treatment services within your license/scope (including medication management when applicable).
• Collaborate with the clinic’s treatment team on treatment planning, clinical coordination, and continuity of care in a 245I clinic model. MN Revisor's Office
• Maintain timely, accurate clinical documentation per clinic policy and applicable 245I requirements.
• Supervisory role, review case files remotely or in person at office.
• Conduct clinical team meeting bi-monthly

Minimum Qualifications (Must meet 245I “Mental Health Professional” criteria)

You must qualify under one of the following statutory pathways:

A) Psychiatrist (MD/DO) pathway — 245I.04, subd. 2(4):

• Physician licensed in Minnesota (MD/DO; licensed under MN ch. 147), and
• ABPN certified , AOBNP certified , or board-eligible in psychiatry . MN Revisor's Office

OR

B) Psychiatric APRN pathway — 245I.04, subd. 2(1):

• Registered Nurse licensed in Minnesota (MN 148.171–148.285), and certified as either:
• a Psychiatric/Mental Health Nurse Practitioner (adult or family psych/mental health) by a national nurse certification organization; or
• a Psychiatric/Mental Health Clinical Nurse Specialist (child/adolescent, family, or adult psych/mental health) by a national certification organization. MN Revisor's Office+1

Preferred

• Outpatient/community mental health experience
• Co-occurring conditions experience
• Strong teamwork/consultation skills in a multidisciplinary setting

Schedule / Employment Details

• Two openings (FT/PT/Contract options based on clinic coverage needs)
• In-person and/or hybrid may be available depending on role and service model (per clinic policy)
