This position provides engineering support to the design, development, and testing of an automated Flight Termination System (FTS) system for a rocket that is the cornerstone of an exciting space program in the new era of human exploration beyond Earth’s orbit. This position supports the development and integration of FTS hardware, such as computers, navigation devices, and Radio Frequency (RF) components. Responsibilities can include supporting component testing, conducting system analyses, analyzing test and vendor data, verifying requirements, coordinating with component vendors and the NASA customer, writing reports, and resolving issues. The candidate will work with other FTS engineers to develop the system and ensure the design meets requirements.
