Position Summary The IT Manager will oversee and lead all aspects of the companys technology operations, ensuring the secure, efficient, and innovative use of systems across the organization. This role blends strategic oversight with hands-on technical management, supporting both daily IT functions and long-term digital initiatives. The ideal candidate is a forward-thinking leader with a strong technical background, excellent project management skills, and the ability to translate business needs into practical technology solutions. Key Responsibilities Technology Operations Leadership Oversee daily IT operations including infrastructure, systems, networks, and cybersecurity. Manage and mentor a team of IT professionals, fostering growth and accountability. Ensure consistent system uptime, stability, and data integrity across the organization. Strategy Planning Develop and implement IT policies, procedures, and best practices. Align technology strategy with organizational goals and growth objectives. Plan and lead IT projects from conception through execution and evaluation. Security Compliance Maintain robust data security, backup, and disaster recovery systems. Ensure compliance with all applicable data protection and regulatory standards. Conduct risk assessments and manage mitigation initiatives. Collaboration Support Partner with cross-functional departments to identify and deploy technology-driven solutions. Provide technical guidance and support to all teams, ensuring seamless workflow and system integration. Manage IT vendors, contracts, and service-level agreements. Performance Innovation Monitor network and system performance, proactively resolving issues. Identify emerging technologies to enhance efficiency and scalability. Recommend upgrades, improvements, and investments aligned with organizational priorities. Qualifications Bachelors degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or related field (Masters preferred). 5+ years of progressive experience in IT management or a related leadership role. Strong technical knowledge in IT infrastructure, network administration, and cybersecurity. Experience with cloud platforms (e.g., AWS, Azure, or Google Cloud) and enterprise applications. Proven ability to manage projects, budgets, and cross-functional teams. Excellent communication, problem-solving, and organizational skills. Relevant certifications (PMP, ITIL, CISSP, or equivalent) highly desirable.
