Job Description

University Home Care Inc is seeking a compassionate and dedicated Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) to join our team in Macomb, MI. In this role, you will provide high-quality nursing care to patients in a home care setting, ensuring their comfort, safety, and well-being while supporting their health care needs. Responsibilities

• Provide skilled nursing care to patients in their homes according to physician orders and care plans.
• Monitor and record patient vital signs, symptoms, and progress.
• Administer medications and treatments as prescribed.
• Collaborate with physicians, Registered Nurses, therapists, and other healthcare professionals to coordinate patient care.
• Educate patients and their families on health management and disease prevention.
• Maintain accurate and timely documentation of patient information and care activities.
• Ensure compliance with all state and federal regulations related to home healthcare.

Requirements

• Valid Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) license in the state of Michigan.
• Previous experience in home health care or related nursing field is preferred.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to work independently and manage time effectively.
• Reliable transportation to travel to patient homes within the Macomb, MI area.
