We are seeking a skilled and enthusiastic Maths Teacher to join our American curriculum school in Kuwait. This position is ideal for an educator who is passionate about making mathematics engaging, relevant, and accessible for secondary students. You’ll be helping learners build strong analytical thinking and problem-solving skills that last a lifetime.
Role Overview
As a Secondary Maths Teacher, you will:
Plan and deliver high-quality Maths lessons aligned with American curriculum standards
Teach a range of topics including algebra, geometry, statistics, and calculus at the secondary level
Incorporate diverse teaching methods to cater to various learning styles
Regularly assess student progress and provide constructive feedback
Work closely with fellow teachers and maintain open communication with parents
Participate in school-wide activities, professional development, and collaborative planning
Candidate Profile
Essential:
Bachelor’s Degree in Mathematics, Education, or a related field
Recognized teaching certification or license (REQUIRED)
Minimum of 2 years’ experience teaching Maths in an American curriculum setting
Strong mathematical knowledge and excellent communication skills
Proven classroom management and student engagement skills
Readiness to relocate and adapt to a new cultural environment in Kuwait
Preferred:
Experience teaching Grades 6–12 or equivalent
Familiarity with Common Core Math Standards
First Aid/CPR certification
