About the Job:

Greater Chicago Specialty Physicians (GCSP) is looking for a Medical Receptionist with strong verbal and organizational skills to join our team. Our philosophy is that every GCSP team member contributes to a successful patient experience, and we are looking for a candidate that understands the importance of their role in that process.

 

  Duties & Responsibilities:
This position is responsible for the front office processes including:

• Answering phones.
• Scheduling patient appointments.
• Patient check-in/check-out.
• Collection of copays and patient balances.
• Verifying insurance eligibility.
• Monitoring clinic flow for maximum optimization.
• Scanning & delegation of faxes.
• Help track clinic inventory.
• Other duties as needed and assigned.

Requirements:

• A minimum of one year of clinic-setting experience.
• Travel to our Oakbrook Terrace clinic location every other week (Thursday) is required.
• Have patience and a good people-person attitude.
• Excellent attention to detail and a professional demeanor.
• Flexibility and team-player attitude.
• Must be comfortable with using technology including EMR (eClinicalWorks a plus) and MS Office Suite. 
• Knowledge or experience with other systems such as Phreesia and Asana are not required, but a plus.
• Able to handle a fast-paced, high-volume environment professionally.
• Able to work independently and self-manage completion of tasks and also work collaboratively with other team/departments/locations.
