Job Summary: The(CNA/PCA) at Care Runners Home Care Services, Inc. plays an essential role in providing quality and compassionate care to elderly individuals needing home care services. The CNA/PCA is responsible for providing assistance with personal hygiene, bathing, dressing, meal preparation, and other activities of daily living. The CNA/PCA is also responsible for assisting with any medical equipment and medications, monitoring and recording vital signs, and making sure the client follows all physician orders. Compensation & Benefits: This is a full-time, hourly position with compensation ranging from $14 to $16 per hour, paid biweekly. • Provide assistance with personal hygiene, grooming, bathing, dressing, and other activities of daily living.
• Monitor vital signs and provide assistance with medication administration, as ordered by a physician.
• Assist with the use of medical equipment and make sure it is in proper working order.
• Establish and maintain a professional relationship with clients and their families.
• Ensure that all patient care plans are followed and executed as directed.
• Report any changes in the patient’s condition or behavior to the appropriate staff.
• Provide comfort and emotional support to clients and their families.

Requirements:

• High school diploma or GED required.
• Must successfully complete state-approved Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) training program and maintain current certification.
• Must be able to communicate effectively both verbally and in writing.
• Ability to work independently as well as with a team.
• Must be reliable and punctual.
• Strong organizational and time management skills.
• Valid driver’s license, reliable vehicle, auto insurance and clean driving record.
