Job Description

Description We are looking for a detail-oriented Property Accountant to join our team in Las Vegas, Nevada. In this role, you will manage financial records and ensure the accuracy of accounting processes for various properties within our portfolio. This position is ideal for an experienced individual with strong analytical skills and a commitment to maintaining compliance with financial regulations. Responsibilities: - Prepare and maintain accurate financial records for assigned properties, including journal entries and reconciliations. - Review and analyze balance sheets to ensure accuracy and completeness. - Manage accrual entries and ensure proper allocation of expenses and revenues. - Monitor account balances and resolve discrepancies in a timely manner. - Assist with the preparation of monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements. - Collaborate with property managers to ensure alignment between financial data and operational activities. - Conduct audits to verify compliance with company policies and accounting standards. - Provide support for budgeting and forecasting processes to aid in financial planning. - Ensure adherence to all applicable financial regulations and reporting requirements. - Generate detailed reports and summaries to assist in decision-making processes. Requirements - Minimum of 3 years of experience in property accounting or a related field. - Proficiency in managing account balances and accrual entries. - Strong knowledge of balance sheets and financial statement preparation. - Familiarity with accounting software and tools. - Excellent organizational and analytical skills. - Ability to identify and resolve discrepancies effectively. - Strong communication skills to collaborate with various teams. - Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related discipline preferred.
