Description We are looking for a skilled and detail-oriented Senior Property Accountant to manage financial operations for a high net worth individual and their family in Sonoma, California. This role is ideal for an experienced accounting expert who thrives in a dynamic and challenging environment, handling diverse financial tasks and administrative duties. Responsibilities: - Oversee day-to-day accounting activities, including accounts payable and receivable, general ledger management, and financial reporting. - Prepare and analyze property budgets and ensure accurate financial forecasting. - Coordinate tax-related documentation and collaborate with external tax specialists. - Manage property management accounting tasks, ensuring compliance with relevant regulations and standards. - Utilize accounting software such as QuickBooks and Yardi to maintain accurate financial records and streamline processes. - Represent the family in interactions with vendors, employees, and business associates. - Conduct detailed financial analysis to support real estate acquisitions and investments. - Provide insights and reports on commercial real estate performance and investment opportunities. - Handle administrative projects and ensure confidentiality in all financial dealings. - Maintain strong relationships with stakeholders and address financial inquiries promptly. Requirements - Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field. - Minimum of 5 years of experience in property accounting, wealth management, or a similar role. - Proficiency in QuickBooks and Yardi Voyager accounting software. - Strong knowledge of commercial property management and real estate accounting principles. - Advanced skills in Microsoft Excel for data analysis and reporting. - Excellent communication skills and the ability to interact professionally with high net worth individuals and stakeholders. - Demonstrated integrity, confidentiality, and trustworthiness in handling sensitive financial information. - Familiarity with real estate acquisitions, funds, and investment management.
