Job Title: Telehealth NurseJob Description
As a Telehealth Nurse, you will counsel and educate new and existing oncology patients on specialty drug therapies through phone interactions. This role does not involve direct patient care or home visits. You will ensure adherence to contracted and accrediting regulations as indicated by drug specifications. You will be responsible for complete, thorough, and accurate documentation, utilizing good documentation practices and compliance with industry standards and regulations using EMR. You will discuss potential and current side effects with patients to educate them about treatment alternatives and facilitate ongoing therapy adherence. Additionally, you will identify and report adverse events and product complaints to the manufacturer, FDA, and/or other governing authorities.
Responsibilities

+ Complete thorough and accurate documentation using EMR, complying with industry standards.

+ Identify and report adverse events and product complaints to the manufacturer, FDA, and other governing authorities.

Additional Skills & Qualifications
+ Registered Nurse with current unrestricted multi-state compact state license (NC)
+ Oncology and/or Hematology experience preferred
+ 3+ years of nursing experience with at least 1 year of acute, inpatient care preferred
+ Strong computer skills, including e-mail, word processing, spreadsheet, and web-based programs
+ Effective communication skills both orally and in writing
+ Experience with motivational interviewing is preferred
+ Ability to read, analyze, and interpret practice standards, professional journals, technical procedures, and government standards and regulations
Work Environment
The work schedule requires onsite presence Monday to Friday from 9 AM to 6 PM, with occasional Saturday shifts on a quarterly rotation, which may be done remotely. You will be working with a large healthcare leader that prioritizes patient care and access.

Pay and Benefits
The pay range for this position is $41.00 - $41.00/hr.
