Job Description

Job Responsibilities:

• Respond to and coordinate the investigation of major incidents (explosions, fires, and electrocutions) including significant company damage events.
• Meet with customers/claimants, witnesses, etc. to obtain facts of incidents.
• Evaluate damages and make a liability determination.
• Understanding the law, deductive reasoning and a commonsense approach to construction and locating activities are needed when making an at fault determination.
• Facilitate open communication between client, locate contractors and excavators to minimize damage to client facilities.
• Document investigations in a manner, which will assist claims in collecting on the cost to repair client facilities. Act as Company Representative in depositions and litigations. Provide educational services to internal and external constituencies.

Education/Experience:

• High school required.
