Hanes Geo Components (HGC) in Indianapolis, IN, a division of Leggett & Platt Inc., is seeking an Operations Manager. HGC is the leading distributor of geosynthetics, erosion control, and soil stabilization products used in the construction industry.

Responsibilities/Duties:

  • Manage shipping and production employees
  • Establish a shipping, receiving, and production schedule daily
  • Establish inbound/outbound logistics daily
  • Coordinate with Corporate purchasing team for material plannings
  • Direct supervision of employees
  • Additional duties may be required

Qualifications:

  • Proven successful warehouse and production management or supervisory experience
  • Adequate computer skills for ticket printing, inventory tracking, shipping reporting, and employee time reporting
  • Must be proficient in Microsoft Office Suite- or comparable systems
  • Math skills for production calculations
  • Excellent communication skills

Qualifications:

  • The qualified candidate must have a minimum of 2 years of experience in supervision and provide exceptional leadership. Basic forklift knowledge is a plus.
  • An associate or bachelor's degree in a business-related field or operations management is preferred
