Job Summary :

The Warehouse Supervisor is responsible for leading operations in a critical spare parts management program at a busy client manufacturing site. This role requires hands-on experience in supply chain logistics, inventory management, people management, and client-facing operations. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in managing complex workflows, experience dealing with technical products and components, and the drive to ensure service level excellence, customer satisfaction, process efficiency, and continuous improvement.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Oversee daily site operations including warehousing, goods receiving, order picking, delivery logistics, inventory counting, and general escalations.
  • Lead, mentor, and manage a warehouse team to perform the highest level.
  • Manage inventory accuracy, cycle counting, and reconciliation processes to ensure product availability and minimal obsolescence.
  • Collaborate with supply chain and procurement teams to ensure timely availability of materials and efficient inbound/outbound logistics.
  • Coordinate with internal logistics teams and external transport partners with respect to ensure timely delivery of product to internal/external customers.
  • Management and motivation of Warehouse staff including cross training, holidays schedule & management of time & attendance system for direct reports
  • Drive regular daily standup meetings with warehouse team and monthly operational meetings with management to discuss targets, resolve issues, and align on performance goals.
  • Build and maintain strong relationships with key internal and external contacts to ensure smooth and successful operations.
  • Drive root cause analysis and resolution of warehouse issues
  • Monitor performance metrics (KPIs), track service levels, and implement initiatives to enhance operational efficiency and customer satisfaction.
  • Maintain compliance with safety, quality, and regulatory standards, particularly in handling delicate or date-sensitive goods and equipment.
  • Identify and implement continuous improvement projects (e.g., lean, 5S, Six Sigma) to streamline workflows and reduce waste.
  • Work with HR to manage any performance or Employee Relations Issues
  • Ensure compliance with EHS & Company policies & procedures including Employment Legislation.
  • Ensure that house keeping standards are maintained to the highest level and the facility is audit-ready at all times.

Required Qualifications:

  • Must have 3+ year experience in a warehouse supervisory / management position.
  • Proven expertise in inventory control, material flow, goods in + out processes, and logistics.
  • Strong computer skills required, MS Office, Excel proficiency, ERP/WMS systems experience.
  • Highly organised and self-motivated.
  • Excellent leadership, teamwork, and problem-solving skills.
  • Track record delivering customer service excellence in previous roles.
  • Flexible and Pro-active attitude, with an ability to embrace new ideas / initiatives when they arise.
  • High attention to detail, innovative mindset, and willingness to adopt new ideas/practices.
  • Well versed in Lean Management and formatting of SOPs for best practice of warehouse procedures
  • Certification and experience operating Forklifts

Preferred Attributes :

  • Passionate about collectively working to deliver the highest possible level of customer service.
  • Previous experience working with an SAP ERP and WMS system an advantage.
  • Experience dealing with industrial supplies, technical equipment, and cleanroom products.

Working Conditions :

  • Hands on role with time split between desk-based work and on the floor supervision.
  • May require occasional travel to other customer locations or regional company hubs.
  • Flexibility to support after-hours or weekend operations as needed.
